About

My name is Fabrice Kurmann. I’m an AI/ML Engineer at IBM and was previously a student at the University of California, Santa Cruz. There, I earned my MS in 2026, majoring in Computer Science. My main interests lie in machine learning, multi-modal models and computer vision. However, I’m also really excited about applications including in robotics, agents, simulation, and in any biological areas (yes, a pretty broad set - it’s all very exciting!).

I completed my undergraduate, where I double majored in Computer Science and Bioinformatics at UC Santa Cruz in 2024. Some notable academic and research projects are on display in the corresponding sections.

Besides my academic interests, I am also an avid triathlete, cook, bread baker, pianist, and motoring enthusiast. I’ve linked a pages relating to these hobbies just for fun.
